When something stops working, the instinct is to message support right away. That is always an option, and our team is there to help. But a few checks often fix the problem in less time than it takes to write the message, and when they do not, the results tell support exactly where to look.

This checklist works for every device in our setup instructions: Android phones, tablets and TV boxes, iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Windows PCs.

The Five-Minute Checklist

  1. Confirm the device is online by opening a website or another streaming app.
  2. Close the player app completely and reopen it.
  3. Reboot the phone, tablet, box or PC you are using.
  4. Try two or three different channels from different categories.
  5. Check whether the problem appears on another device in your home.

These steps sort most problems into one of three groups: your network, your device or app, or specific content.

Note the Basics Before You Start

Before trying fixes, take a quick note of exactly what you see, including any error message word for word. Restarting can clear an error screen, and once it is gone it is hard to remember the precise wording. A phone photo of the screen takes seconds and is often the most useful thing you can send. Write down the time as well, since that helps when the issue relates to specific channels.

If the Network Seems to Be the Issue

When several devices struggle or nothing loads at all, restart your router and modem in the right order. If websites do not load on any device afterward, contact your internet provider, since the problem is upstream of your home network.

If One Device or App Seems to Be the Issue

  • Check for updates to the player app and the device software.
  • Free up storage if the device is nearly full.
  • If the app still misbehaves, reinstall it and sign in again.

If Only Certain Channels Are Affected

When most channels play normally and a few do not, there is little more you can do on your side. This is exactly the kind of issue to report, along with the channel names and times.

Double-Check Your Login Details

If the app says the login is invalid, compare each detail with your subscription email: Username, Password and Server URL. Look for capital letters, extra spaces and a missing port at the end of the server address. Check also that your subscription period has not ended; your plan length is shown in your purchase confirmation.

What to Include in Your Message

Good details mean fewer back-and-forth messages. Try to include:

  • The device you are using, such as Android TV box, iPhone, Apple TV or Windows PC.
  • The player app and, if you can find it, its version.
  • How the device connects: Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
  • What happens: buffering, black screen, login error, audio delay or app crash.
  • Which channels or titles are affected, and roughly when.
  • What you have already tried from this checklist.
  • A photo or screenshot of any error message.

Share your account details only through our official support channels, never in public posts or comments.

An Example of a Helpful Message

Here is the kind of message that lets our team get straight to work: "I am using IBO Player Pro on an Apple TV connected by Wi-Fi. Since yesterday evening, three channels in one category show a black screen, while others play normally. I restarted the Apple TV and the router and updated the app, but the same three channels still do not play. Screenshot attached." It takes a minute to write and answers most of the questions support would otherwise need to ask.

What Not to Do While You Wait

  • Do not factory reset your device or router unless support or your internet provider asks you to.
  • Do not install other apps from unknown websites as a workaround.
  • Do not change security settings on your device to try to make something work.
  • Avoid repeatedly entering wrong login details; check them calmly against your email instead.

Keep a Short Record

If a problem comes back, a record of what happened last time is very useful. Note the date, the issue and what fixed it, whether that was a router restart, an app update or a reinstall. Over time, this becomes your own household troubleshooting guide.

How to Reach Us

You can contact our team by email, on WhatsApp or through the contact page. Setup steps for each device are also on the installation page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I run all these checks every time?

Not necessarily, but restarting the app and device and trying another channel takes only a minute and solves many issues.

Why do you ask which device I use?

Steps differ between Android, Apple devices and Windows, so knowing the device lets us give the right instructions.

Is a screenshot helpful?

Yes. An exact error message is often the fastest route to the cause.

Can I send my password to support?

Only through our official channels, and only if our team asks for it to look into your account.

Faster Answers Start with You

A few minutes of checks either fixes the problem outright or gives our team a clear starting point. Keep this list handy for the next time something goes wrong.
